Here at Dark Aero, we are very passionate about Motorsports. I have been involved in different forms of high performance driving since 2012. I have been racing GT sportscars since 2013. I also have an extensive background in aerodynamics since 1987. A degree in Professional Aeronautics and completed numerous courses in aerodynamics with a motorsport application. Most recent has been a certificate of completion of “Race Car Aerodynamics, The Definitive Course” by JFK Aero. Led by Kyle Forster who has a PhD in Aerodynamics and has worked with the Mercedes F1 team.

Our intent is to design and fabricate aerodynamic parts for street and race car applications. We will always think outside the box of common aerodynamic principles while adhering to club level regulations where applicable. All of our designs center around one basic principle of Lift/Drag max providing maximum downforce for minimum drag. Manipulation of airflow is critical. Where possible, every part we design will be CFD tested and verified on track. Form and function will always be a cornerstone.

Additionally, we can provide specific customer requests for carbon fiber parts. We have parts for the BMW E36, E46 and Aston Martin Vantage. Anything from an intake airbox to dash blankout plates, dive planes, splitters, wing endplates, fenders, hoods, bumper covers, etc. We will make every attempt to customize your project.
